Domestic / Commercial GasfitterWhat you do:

Many homes and businesses depend on natural gas for heating, and natural-gas powered generators to keep the lights on when the power goes out, so keeping this equipment up and running is a top priority. As a Domestic/Commercial Gasfitter, you install, repair and maintain propane and natural gas regulated products found in homes and commercial buildings. If you are a careful person who works well under pressure, and you don’t mind climbing ladders and squeezing into tight places, then a career in gasfitting could be for you. Depending on the day, you might find yourself inside a building or somewhere outside—either way, you’ll be in charge of your schedule and responsible for keeping the gas flowing safely.
